The village of Cobbly Nob, as the area is affectionately known, gets a Gatlinburg zip code although it is about 10 miles east north east of Gatlinburg on US Highway 321. With some of the finest views in the entire area and a very attractive golf course, it’s no wonder that Cobbly Nob continues to be one of Sevier County’s most popular communities for both residents and vacation home owners. Development of the Cobbly Nob community began in the early eighties and new homes are still being built in the area today as the neighborhood has been enlarged several times through the development of adjoining properties. Unlike many outlying areas within Sevier County, Cobbly Nob offers utility water and much of the community is also served by community sewer due to a recent upgrade of the sewer plant’s capacity. There are also swimming pools available to Cobbly Nob property owners as well as their guests. As is true of most of our community’s other areas that adjoin the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, real estate in Cobbly Nob can tend to be a little pricey in comparison with areas that are further away from the park. With good roads, attractive signage, good restrictions, city utilities, and those remarkable national park views, it’s not surprising that many people choose Cobbly Nob to make their home, second home, or simply a great real estate investment.
As of Wednesday, March 21, 2018 there were 1,359 residential properties listed for sale in our Great Smoky Mountains Association of Realtors® MLS database. The 25 residences for sale in the Cobbly Nob area as of the same date were listed at an average price of $245,662.
