While not an incorporated or even an organized entity, Jones Cove refers to a large area at the eastern most part of Sevier County, east of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, south of New Center, and north of Cobbly Nob.
Jones Cove is probably the most rural section of Sevier County and in fact borders even more rural Cocke County. With the grand English Mountain range and several good sized streams Jones Cove has some very scenic areas. A little far from the tourist centers of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Jones Cove probably isn’t a great place in which to consider an overnight rental investment.
In fact, if you are old enough to remember the “Green Acres” television show Jones Cove may remind you just a little of “Hooterville”. If you, like Eva Gabor’s character, aren’t ready for true country living, you may want to stick to Sevier County areas a little closer to the tourist hubs. If on the other hand you are looking for a place for horses or maybe a full fledged farm, or just looking to get more land for your money, Jones Cove may be exactly what you are looking for.
As of Thursday, December 14, 2017 there were 1,475 residential properties listed for sale in our Great Smoky Mountains Association of Realtors® MLS database. The 11 residences for sale in the Jones Cove area as of the same date were listed at an average price of $260,936.
